Improved economy pushes home improvement projects up Article Number: 521
| | As the weather becomes milder in Garfield County and the retail economy begins to improve, residents have begun doing those home improvement chores, local retailers say. Dorothy Nightingale, Enid Tile and Marble, said while they stay busy, home improvement work gets busier in March and April.
Most of the work being done is counter top and flooring for both kitchens and bathrooms. The most popular counter top material being used is granite while wood and tile are tied for popularity in flooring, she said.
