Mamma Mia Rugs: Luxurious Sustainable Living
Article Number: 5192

DALTON, GA, January 7, 2010—Mamma Mia Rugs is a new Karastan collection that has already played a major role in an eco-spectacular designer showcase.

This thick, beefy shag was selected to grace the great room of the CharityWorks GreenHouse, the first carbon neutral house on the East Coast. The goal of the project was to get people to start to look at living green in a whole new way and to show the public that there is such a thing as “luxurious sustainable living.”

Mamma Mia is crafted of SmartStrand® BCF Triexta DuPont™ Sorona® renewably sourced polymer, which offers incredibly soft comfort, amazing durability and stain resistance and the added advantage of being produced in part (37 percent) from readily available and renewable resources. Mamma Mia makes it easier and more fashionable to “live green.”
