LAWRENCE, MASS—Nora rubber flooring manufacturer named Andreas Mueller as North American president and CEO. Mueller will replace Dennis Schmick.

“Andreas’ contributions to the tremendous success of our sales efforts and market penetration have prepared him well for this new position,” said the retiring president. “His vision, experience and leadership skills will contribute to Nora’s continuing growth.”

An important figure within the company, Mueller has been with Nora for 13 years, most recently as vice president of sales, where he averaged 17% annual sales growth in Canada, Mexico and the U.S., said Philipp Lererenz, managing director. He added Mueller was also a key figure in the development, design and global introduction of Nora’s new best-selling product, Noraplan Environcare, as well as the company’s new brand position and strategy.
