DALTON—Thousands of retail sales associates enrolled in the “Mohawk Infinite Rewards” program will find the sun shining a little brighter this summer, thanks to a new promotion period.

“Splash of Style,” for the mill’s aligned retailers, and “Everything Under The Sun,” for nonaligned retailers, began on June 15 and will run through Aug. 16. The promotions allow retail sales associates to earn Mohawk Infinite Rewards points on a variety of products, including select SmartStrand, SmartStrand with DuPont Sorona, EverStrand, Wear-Dated, Stainmaster, hardwood and laminate styles.

Depending on the style and promotion level, products earn up to 50 points per square yard (square foot for hard surface). For Canadian retailers, products earn up to three Canada air miles.

“This is a great opportunity for retail sales associates to build points toward great rewards,” said David Duncan, vice president of marketing. “Many salespeople have already built up sizeable banks of points, and it’s possible to earn significant rewards by selling just a few jobs.”

Mohawk Infinite Rewards allows retail salespeople to accumulate points from promotions throughout the year, rather than have to redeem them just with particular promotion events. “This has allowed retail sales associates to accumulate points for larger rewards,” explained Duncan. “It is not uncommon for retail salespeople participating in the program to earn enough points for trips, big screen televisions, designer jewelry, or even Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Mohawk allows retail salespeople to roll points over from year to year so they can earn larger rewards.”

Retail sales associates earn points in the Mohawk Infinite Rewards program for a wide variety of products, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, resilient and cushion. They also can earn points for encouraging consumer participation in Mohawk’s consumer finance program.

“Throughout the year,” he concluded, “participants also earn points for completing online education modules— which also improve their selling skills to earn more Infinite Rewards points on the sales floor.”
