HAZLETON, PA.—Forbo Flooring Systems has introduced new High Moisture Adhesives and an improved Moisture Limitor to expand its product offering and use. The new High Moisture Adhesives are 100% solvent-free and, unlike Forbo’s standard adhesives, can be used over concrete slabs that emit moisture vapor emissions of up to eight pounds per 1,000 square feet in 24 hours with an internal relative humidity of up to 85%. The new glues also offer protection against concrete alkalinity up to pH 11.

And, when used in conjunction with the company’s new Moisture Limitor the glues can be used over concrete slabs that emit moisture vapor emissions as high as 11 pounds per 1,000 square feet in 24 hours and have an internal relative humidity as high as 90%.

Additionally, all new products are VOC compliant and come in 100% recycled PVC containers.
