Aged Woods Antique Oak wood flooring was specified for a special section of Galyans Trading Company, the major sporting goods retailer’s store at the Washingtonian Mall located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Comprised of a mix of both red and white oak, Antique Oak planks range in color from light to medium brown. The product is a very hard and durable floor covering with minimum character and patina changes. A red or white oak "sort" may be specified for a 20% up-charge, according to Aged Woods.

Antique Oak is offered in plank widths ranging from 3” to 10.” It is an ideal wood flooring material adding the rugged look of Early America for retail, hospitality, gaming and many other commercial projects.

Aged Woods brand flooring is precision-milled from old and destined-for-the-dump barn wood. Proper kiln-drying before milling assures a stable floor. The look of these antique woods is natural, resulting from more than a century of weathering as well as various indications of old-time craftsmen. Aged Woods floors offer the rugged feel of Early America to a variety of installations. The product’s authentic rustic character is unobtainable with new wood.
