DALTON—A special REACH Conference will be hosted by the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) and will take place here on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. CRI has enlisted a group of expert presenters from academia, government, industrial, and NGO to examine the impacts and requirements of REACH for U.S. industry.

There is no charge to attend the energy issues seminar meeting and lunch. However, registration is required. Deadline for registration is Oct. 1.
