The Applied Coatings Group, a leading manufacturer of decorative glass products utilizing dichroic thin film technology to manage color, has entered into a new wholesale distribution partnership with Natural Stone Specialist in Carmel, Indiana, just minutes north of downtown Indianapolis. Natural Stone Specialist will now market and distribute the Modono Glass Tile Collection from its 5,000 square foot showroom to architects, specifiers, designers and homeowners in Greater Indianapolis

“We found the Modono Glass Tile Collection at the 2008 Coverings Tile and Stone exhibition,” said Laura Christy, owner of Natural Stone Specialist (www.nssindy.com). “We visited their booth, like what we saw, and decided to work with them. We are a wholesale distributor and our showroom is open to the public. We feel there is whole world of possibilities out there for the Modono Collection. We’ll market it to architects and designers for commercial and hospitality projects, but we also feel it can be used residentially as an accent piece.”

The Modono Glass Tile Collection is available in four different series including Extreme, Opulence, Organic and Vintage, with sizes ranging from 2” x 2” mosaics to 12” x 12” and 12” x 24” large format options. Modono Glass Tile can be installed using traditional thin-set methods or mechanically anchored in an architectural system for large-format installations.
