The Applied Coatings Group, a leading manufacturer of decorative glass products utilizing dichroic thin film technology to manage color, has entered into a new distribution partnership with knoxtile in Dallas and Houston, Texas. In the new relationship, knoxtile, with 50-plus years in the tile industry, will market and distribute the Modono Glass Tile Collection to architects, specifiers and designers at its showroom in historic Deep Ellum, three blocks east of downtown Dallas, as well as from its distribution hub in Houston.

“We’re excited about the Modono Glass Tile Collection,” said Jon Lehman, general manager at knoxtile (www.knoxtile.com). “We’ve been around for over 50 years. Over the last eight years we have targeted our marketing efforts towards architects and designers and we try and carry products that are just a little bit different. When we saw the Modono Collection we got excited because we are focusing on the hospitality sector and that’s where we envision this product being utilized.”

The Modono Glass Tile Collection is available in four different series including Extreme, Opulence, Organic and Vintage, with sizes ranging from 2” x 2” mosaics to 12” x 12” and 12” x 24” large format options. Modono Glass Tile can be installed using traditional thin-set methods or mechanically anchored in an architectural system for large-format installations.
