ANAHEIM, CALIF.—The World Floor Covering Association ( WFCA) has announced a major push to make the 2008 edition of the organization’s Financial Management Report of greater value to members than in previous years.

Providing data for the 2008 report will be easier and less cumbersome than ever.

As part of the association’s upcoming 50th anniversary celebration, plus as an inducement to get increased participation, 50 lucky participants will receive a free individual analysis of the data for their stand-alone operations against the benchmark standards.

“This study has proven over the years to be of tremendous value to our members in analyzing the success of their operations against industry norms,” said Chris Davis, WFCA’s president and CEO. “Our goal this year is to maximize participation so the data is as accurate and meaningful as possible.”

The report will be valuable to the industry as a whole, as well as individual businesses. “Anyone wishing to expand their business or sell their operation will find themselves being compared with whatever industry benchmarks are available,” Davis said. “Having this report is a great tool in measuring your operation against others in the same business. It can be a blueprint for success because it literally shows the area where you need to make adjustments to better your performance.”

Tabulations will be completely confidential, conducted online and compiled by the Bowe Co. Copies of the benchmark study will be made available free to those non-members contributing financial information and will be available in the “member’s only” section at www.wfcapro.org. It will not be made available to anyone who has not participated by providing financial information.
