Scott Stertmeyer

Color Mirage™, a decorative glass product line recently introduced to the market by the Applied Coatings Group (ACG), has appointed industry veteran Scott Stertmeyer to the position of national sales manager. In his new position, Stertmeyer will seek to establish a network of sales professionals, while building distribution partnerships across the country for the firm’s innovative new line of decorative glass block and glass tiles.

Stertmeyer will be working out of Cincinnati, Ohio, with an extensive range of responsibilities, including new business development for Applied Coatings Group’s decorative division, Color Mirage, which will utilize the firm’s ability to manage light with dichroic thin film technology. Color Mirage will feature a new line of glass tiles available in multiple decorative patterns, colors and sizes, all of which are coated with a thin, dichroic film that transmits and reflects light based on the direction and intensity of the light source.
Stertmeyer is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He brings 13 years of industry experience to his new position, including ten years with Louisville Tile Distributors.

“Color Mirage presented an exciting opportunity to introduce the Modono Glass Tile Collection to the tile industry,” said Stertmeyer. “It is one of the most unique products I have seen, and we look forward, with great enthusiasm, to its launch."

With the ability to reflect or transmit specific wavelengths with optical thin film technology, Color Mirage has built a solid foundation for its designs and products.
