Versatile Silhouette window shadings.
Upper Saddle River, N.J.—Like floor coverings, excellent customer service is something that is vitally important to the custom window coverings industry. Although the dealer plays a huge role in creating the best possible sales experience, Hunter Douglas knows it is the installer who makes the last impression on the customer.

With this in mind, the company provides ongoing installer training programs to properly educate professionals on the most effective and up-to-date installation methods.

Its Certified Professional Installer (CPI) training program is a two-day workshop that teaches installers how they can positively influence the experience of purchasing custom window fashions and, in turn, encourages repeat business.

Six CPI training sessions are currently scheduled through October. Workshops are limited to 50 participants, and each installer is required to have a minimum of three years of installation experience. Those who pass the training will receive CPI certification, a photo ID badge and apparel, specialty installation tools and use of the CPI logo for advertising and marketing.

Additionally, they will receive access to exclusive online resources, including e-learning modules and training videos, an electronic installer reference guide and the ability to request replacement parts.

For a complete schedule of classes or to register call 866.229.1587. The fee is $275 and includes catered breakfast and lunch.
