DALTON— Karastan has signed interior designer and TV personality Thom Filicia to bring its in-store consumer event, Decorating From the Floor Up (DFFU) out on the open road.

The program will land in Boston and Chicago and hit several other major markets this year. Filicia will headline events at local venues, where he can reach larger crowds as opposed to doing smaller in-store demonstrations. “I’m especially excited to be able to travel across the country on its behalf and personally meet with consumers to help solve their decorating dilemmas and offer flooring solution,” Filicia said.

Filicia’s seminars will incorporate a Karastan gallery and decorating advice. And individuals will have a chance for a one-on-one meet-and-greet with Filicia following a contribution to the Cure of $100.
