• Rich DeOrzio has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president of sales for Fabrica. He comes to the high-end carpet mill from sister company Masland, where he spent nine years, most recently as Northeast regional vice president. Prior to Masland, he was vice president of sales for Lees Carpets, a division of Burlington Industries. Both Fabrica and Masland are divisions of The Dixie Group.

• M. Pierre Pépin has joined Mercier Wood Flooring as its Canadian sales director. In this role, he will be coaching and structuring the Canadian representative team as well as the customer service department working in the company’s headquarters in Montmagny, Quebec, Canada. Also, Ron Miller has been added to Mercier’s sales representative team. The 20-year wood flooring industry vet comes to Mercier from Armstrong and will be representing the mill in Washington, Oregon and parts of California.

• David Voll has been appointed by Amtico International to senior marketing manager, North America. Reporting to David Motyl, CEO, he will be responsible for the development and execution of Amtico’s marketing strategies, incorporating both global objectives and local initiatives to ensure the company’s North American business continues to grow. Voll, who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the position, will oversee advertising, public relations, promotions, product launches, trade shows and provide support for field sales teams and retailers. He was most recently brand manager for Tarkett Commercial’s Azrock/ Tarkett VCT lines.
