Whitehall, Pa.—With its laminate line successfully launched earlier this year and dealers reporting consumer interest,
Tarkett has added Madagascar to its offerings.
Madagascar is situated within the company’s Originals universe and expands the lineup with a more tropical and exotic twist in wood designs. Each piece in the new collection, said Lauren Adair,
Tarkett Residential’s North American brand manager, features “special embossing techniques and surface textures, each with their own distinctive personalities.
“The Madagascar Collection allows builders and contractors to keep up with growing flooring trends by offering a look that is natural and authentic,” she added.
Combining registered embossing with light scraping techniques, the products end up with a highly textural, visual impression, Adair noted.
Designs were inspired by lush coastal areas and includes such product names as Linen-Wood, Leather-Wood, Jute-Wood, Woven-Wood, Rawhide and Tanbark. “The collection offers the look and feel of hardwood flooring with distressed designs for enhanced depth,” she explained. The planks are also micro-beveled on all four sides.
Madagascar comes with a moisture guarantee and 25-year warranty on wear, fade and stain.
“This collection will definitively meet the demand for unique, original flooring that is comfortable, stylish and easy to install,” Adair concluded.
