Mercerville, N.J.—To ensure dealers not only have more choices and options for their customers to choose from, but are offering the hottest styles in home fashion, Congoleum Corp. has beefed up four of its most popular product lines with a series of new designs and colors.

The resilient manufacturer’s best selling Ultima collection has been given a wood and slate design, giving it 15 styles and 76 SKUs. As the company’s flagship for sheet products, Liz Charbonneau, vice president of marketing, said the two new styles are very popular among consumers.

Montego Slate is available in 9-in. scale tiles and features “the dazzling color variations found in natural slate,” she said. It is offered in six colors—Light Bisque Slate, Bleached Greige Slate, Soft Yellow Slate, Sun/Sage Slate, Amber Slate and Brown Slate.

Laguna Maple provides an authentic maple look, complete with natural graining and tonal variations, Charbonneau said. It is available in four natural colors—Natural Maple, Clear Maple, Country Maple and Deep Maple.

Congoleum’s Pacesetter collection has been given a new design, Rhapsody, as well as new colors in the Passion and Bombay designs. The collection now has 15 designs and 58 SKUs.

Rhapsody is an overall design, “a look that is selling very well,” she explained, with five blended natural colorations—Natural White, Natural Bisque, Natural Multi, Natural Sage and Natural Clay.
Passion, the line’s popular 9-in. fired ceramic design, has been given Ultra Beige as its new color, bringing the design’s total to six. Bombay is the top-selling slate design in the Pacesetting line and with its new color—Multi Golden Sage—it now has seven from which to choose.

The mill’s Concept line, a popular upgrade product for builders and retailers, has been expanded by two designs to answer the demand for more choices Charbonneau explained.

Esquire offers the look of 9-in. multi-toned tumbled stone pavers in five popular colors—Earthen White, Earthen Bisque, Light Earthen Gold, Medium Earthen Tan and Earthen Golden Clay—while Aztec Slate is a 13-1/2-in. tile with original textural characteristics and tone variations in six earth tone hues—Multi Beige Slate, Multi Golden Slate, Multi Cinnamon Slate, Multi Greige Slate, Multi Saddle Slate, Multi Gray/Terracotta Slate.

Finally, Congoleum’s Prelude line has been given Monaco, a multi-toned slate paver in 9-in. tile scales and in available in four multi-hued colors—Stone White, Golden Bisque, Multi Light Greige and Sagestone.

“We’re always trying to give dealers cutting edge products and designs,” Charbonneau concluded, “while at the same time answering the needs of our customers. These new designs and colors are the latest example of this.”
