Columbia, Md.—The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) recently announced a new insurance program for its members. Working with Ross Driscoll of Driscoll & Driscoll Insurance and carrier Zurich, the program offers members unprecedented discounts, noted Brian Spiegel, the organization’s president.

All qualifying ASCR members are eligible to receive an immediate 5% discount on their general and pollution liability insurance policies up to the cost of their ASCR membership fee. Companies with one or more employees holding the Certified Restorer (CR) designation will receive an additional 10% off along with their membership discount. Businesses with individuals holding the Water Loss Specialists (WLS) and/or Certified Mold Professional (CMP) classification will also receive additional discounts on their premiums, which are cumulative up to a total of 25%.

“This program recognizes the value of these advanced designations for both our members and the clients they serve,” said Spiegel. “The advanced level of education they receive enables them to do the best possible job for their companies and clients.”
