Farnham, Québec—
Randy Frolen has been named national sales manager for
Domco, a new position for the company.
Tara Conner will replace Frolen as the mill’s Northwest regional sales manager. Both positions take effect immediately.
“Domco had a great 2005, with double-digit sales growth that outpaced the industry as a whole and put us well ahead of projections for the year,” said
Stephan Guindon, Domco’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Our goal is to maintain this momentum through 2006 and beyond. To do this, it is important that we more closely coordinate our sales and marketing activities nationwide, hence the creation of the national sales manager position.”
In this new position, Frolen will be in charge of growing the manufacturer’s nationwide sales and work with the regional managers to enhance distributor relations as well as increase sales and marketing efficiencies throughout the country, noted Guindon. He has been with the mill since 1991.
“By appointing Randy to national sales manager, the company will be able to coordinate its sales and marketing activities more closely from region to region and to respond more efficiently to the needs of the marketplace,” he added.
In her new role, Conner, who is experienced in a diverse range of sales, marketing and customer service, will work with distributors to coordinate sales, marketing and merchandising activities. She will also work to increase awareness of the Domco brand in the Northwest region which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Minnesota.
“Based on Domco’s excellent first quarter performance, we are well on our way to meeting our goals for 2006,” concluded Guindon.
