| Article | The Design Center’s second annual Outdoor Design Conference returns to Chicago’s Merchandise Mart offering trade professionals access to the latest products and techniques for designing distinguished outdoor spaces. The Outdoor Design Conference features product debuts and open houses in 31 permanent showrooms, CEU-credited Seminars and a compelling Keynote Presentation that will inspire and educate as we spring into summer. This year’s Keynote Presentation titled, Chicago's Great Outdoor Parks: A behind the scenes look into The 606, Chicago Riverwalk, and Maggie Daley Park, will highlight Chicago’s great outdoors and the magnificent works created in our city’s urban environment, including Chicago’s first elevated trail, an open pedestrian waterfront and a 20-acre public park in the Loop community. WHO: Chicago's Merchandise Mart is the ultimate destination for all things Outdoor – furniture, fabric, shade products and accessories. The Design Center includes permanent showrooms dedicated to the casual furnishings industry on floors 15 and 16, with select showrooms on 14.
