Article Bostik, Inc. (bostik-us.com), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of adhesives and sealants, played a significant role in helping its long-time customer, Intermountain Wood Flooring, stage the highly anticipated "Grand Re-Opening" of its Salt Lake City distribution center. Key industry players from throughout the Northwestern United States were in attendance, including those from R.C. Willey, Utah's largest flooring dealer, as well as FFKR, SLC's leading architectural firm.

"The purpose of this gala affair was not just to introduce our headquarters' bigger and better building," stated Ron Winterton, Intermountain Director of Marketing. "We wanted our customers and premier vendors, people we view as business partners, to be part our excitement. Our 'Grand Re-Opening' provided just another reason for Intermountain to get these good people together and in doing so… share valuable information with each other!"

Bostik Territory Sales Manager, James Allred commented, "A strong number people from the architectural & design, dealer and contractor sectors attended the demonstrations we performed. I'm proud to say they were thrilled upon witnessing firsthand the amazing benefits our Axios products offer to the marketplace!"

Introduced earlier this year, Axios™ Tri-Linking™ Polymer Technology raises the standard for single-solution hardwood adhesives, as it improves overall bond strength, moisture protection and sound reduction. Allred demonstrated the two product formulations in which it is offered: Ultra-Set SingleStep2™, a high-performance adhesive, moisture control and sound reduction membrane all in one… and, GreenForce™, its cost-efficient alternative, ideal for jobs where sound reduction and membrane thickness control aren't primary considerations.

"Intermountain Wood Flooring is a model business partner for Bostik," continued Allred. "The firm's eleven distribution centers only sell Bostik adhesives and stock the line heavily. They treat all their vendors with great loyalty, and continually make sure that every interaction with their company, from every perspective, is positive for all involved. In particular, Intermountain organizes productive customer appreciation events where both attendees and vendors are richly rewarded thanks to the superb planning, marketing, food, prizes and key relationships which always come from these highly professional events."

A number of wonderful prizes were awarded at the "Grand Re-Opening," including barbeque grills and an iPad, which were contributed by Bostik. "We couldn't be partnering with a better organization than Intermountain," beamed Allred.
