| Article | Manchester, N.H.—CCA Global Partners has appointed Krista Eliason president of the International Design Guild (IDG). Eliason will also be responsible for 100 Guild showrooms, which cater to the luxury segment of the floor covering industry. Previously, Eliason served as vice president of IDG. Since she joined the company in 1999, it has grown to incorporate 100 locations with sales of more than $350 million. Eliason was instrumental in creating a state-of-the-art reward and recognition program for key showroom clients. The Premier Professional program has hundreds of key clients who are active participants in IDG. Eliason has forged a close working relationship with IDG’s Showroom Advisory Committee. “We work extremely well as a team,” explained Eliason. “Our Advisory Committee actively shapes the direction of our company. They are seasoned professionals who are committed to growing market share for themselves and other members. I feel honored and fortunate to have earned their support.” Eliason will remain in IDG’s Manchester, N.H., corporate office and will report directly to Evan Hackel, senior vice president of groups for CCA Global Partners. She will be replacing Christopher Ramey, who will continue to serve as president of Savvi formalwear, also a division of CCA Global. Ramey will now focus his efforts on the men’s formalwear group full time. “Krista has a very successful history with International Design Guild,” said Hackel. “I know that she will continue to grow the company and use her expertise to help individual members enhance their businesses. She is the perfect person for this position and I’m really looking forward to working with her.” For more on the Guild and its services, call 603/626-0333. —Louis Iannaco |
