Barbara Barry is among the world's most prominent and talented designers with designs that range from elegant interiors to an extensive portfolio of home furnishings. With a vision of infusing simple luxuries into the every day, Barbara Barry is renowned for creating refined interiors, timeless furnishings and luxury products that inspire a life of beauty. "The incomparable Barbara Barry is truly an American classic in the world of interior design. The imprint she has made in all facets of her work, and on the industry as a whole, is nothing short of remarkable," said Bob Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers. The 2013 Design Icon presentation will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. in Building B, 16th Floor World View Ballroom. The event will include a presentation by Barbara Barry, followed by a Q&A with IMC's CEO Bob Maricich. Immediately following the presentation will be a book signing and meet & greet reception located at Global Views (A-153). The event is complimentary and open to all Las Vegas Market attendees. Praise from her peers and the press has earned Barbara Barry a distinctive place in design. Her honors include Interior Design "Hall of Fame," Architectural Digest list of "World's 100 Best Designers," House Beautiful "Giants of Design," and "Designer of the Year" from Elle Décor International Design. Additionally, she has been awarded the ASID "Designer of Distinction," and named an ASID "Fellow" in 2013, as well as "Designer of the Year" by Traditional Home and "Best in Residential Design" by Interiors Magazine.
