| Article | Finale Emilia, 31 July 2013 - ABK is writing a new chapter in the tale of contemporary living with the presentation at Cersaie 2013 of new and original collections that reflect the continuous development of taste and trends. DOWNTOWN, a blend of stone and concrete inspired by the unique appeal of metropolitan pavements, is a creative, eclectic collection suited equally to residential projects and public and commercial spaces. The available colours, the range of surfaces and the modularity of the sizes leave plenty of space for creativity and customisation, with the possibility for exterior use thanks to the Walk textured finish. Versatility is the key strength of SOLERAS, a collection that has been expanded with the addition of a new 20x170 cm plank size and a 20x80 cm special piece that allows for herringbone installation, two solutions that further enhance the originality of the collection. The SOLERAS collection from ABK is inspired by unconventional materials for the world of interior design. Wooden staves from barrels used for the ageing of wine and spirits are transformed into fascinating and exclusive floor and wall tiles. GRACE is inspired by the sober and sophisticated beauty typical of fifties fashion and society. The marble veins, the soft, contemporary colours and the wide range of graphic and decorative solutions are the key ingredients of this “couture” project, designed to dress spaces with the elegance of a tailor-made outfit. All the new products from ABK are part of a broader design project that redefines the history and identity of the brand, ever attentive to details and decor. The new ABK collections are “emotional surfaces” that combine outstanding aesthetics with top performance and technological innovation, making their own distinctive mark in every space and kind of installation.
