| Article | Sassuolo, July 26, 2013 - Fincibec Group will participate in Cersaie 2013, the international ceramics trade fair for architecture and bathroom furnishings, to be held in Bologna from September 23 to 27, with the three brands Monocibec, Century and Naxos, and a rich selection of new products. New designs born from ideas and inspirations gathered by keenly observing the work of great architects and transforming them into ceramic using the expertise of a manufacturer with over 50 years of history. Monocibec will present District, an urban collection that combines the aesthetic suggestions of current materials such as cement and resin, and Georock, inspired by natural rocks and specifically dedicated to outdoor spaces (Hall 20, stand A6-B8). Century will display Pantheon, a flooring collection that is reminiscent of the aesthetics of slate and is suitable for use in contemporary residential and commercial contexts, or in the restoration of historic locations. Also on display Two.0, a collection of fine porcelain stoneware slabs with an extraordinary thickness of 20 mm, an all-around solution for outdoor spaces that allows different types of installation (Hall 20, stand A24-B23). Naxos, the brand specialising in wall tiles, will display Basic among the many new products, a collection inspired by the simplicity and craftsmanship from the past, characterised by original and elegant surfaces on which light reflects to emphasize the shape and structure of the ceramic plates (Hall 20, stand A20-B19). To welcome clients and partners in a peaceful and productive atmosphere, Fincibec has also decided to inaugurate the Business area, an area separate from the excitement of the fair to delve into the details and characteristics of the products. All the new products were presented in the splendid setting of Corte di Villa Spalletti in Casalgrande (RE), on July 22, during the agents annual meeting of the Fincibec Group. PANTHEON Century presents Pantheon the new collection of fine porcelain stoneware inspired by slate, one of the most fascinating and versatile building materials in architectural history. The natural ability of the material of inspiration to divide into slabs results in the strong and masculine aesthetics of Pantheon plates that, offered in a variety of sizes, allow various installation solutions to better adapt to the environmental context. The three colours Ares, Jupiter and Venus are suitable for both residential and commercial contemporary solutions and restoration of historic locations. The pleasant colour variations, nuances and colour shading that characterise Pantheon are enhanced particularly in the multicoloured version of Venus. The latter offer, which allows you to take advantage of the modularity of the collection, comes in sizes ranging from 25x25 to 50x100. Pantheon by Century provides access to the credits from the LEED rating system thanks to the inclusion of a minimum of 40% recycled materials in the body. Pantheon also has the ANAB-ICEA certification as a material suitable for constructions that respect the criteria for green buildings. Production: Made in Italy TWO.0 Century ushers in the age of TWO.0 ceramic tiles, a monolithic porcelain collection with a thickness of 20 mm. TWO.0 is ideal for exterior pavings in public or private areas such as garden paths and beach walkways, terraces and balconies, swimming pool surrounds and driveways. TWO.0 tiles are perfectly square and single-calibre and deliver high anti-slip performance (classified R11 A+B+C). Available in seven colours and a single 60x60 cm size, TWO.0 tiles offer a simple and versatile solution to issues of safety and wear that may be particularly problematic in exterior applications. Century TWO.0 tiles can be laid dry on grass, sand or gravel substrates without the need for adhesives or grout. The resultant surfaces are ready for immediate use and are perfectly integrated and environmentally friendly. Pale colours are particularly suitable for use on beaches and in bathing establishments. Conventional installation on a concrete screed is more appropriate for driveways. The outstanding technical characteristics of the new Century collection make it ideal for use on exterior raised pavings which incorporate an accessible void between the substrate and the paving surface, for example to accommodate lighting or irrigation systems. Three types of supports are available for these applications: fixed, adjustable-height or adjustable-height and self-levelling. Combining the unique characteristics of porcelain with a 20 mm thickness, TWO.0 tiles are exceptionally durable and offer outstanding resistance to breaking loads and stresses. They are also anti-slip, simple to install, remove and reposition, easy to clean, and resistant to frost, fire, weathering, thermal shock and the action of salt. Based on the strong and rough aesthetics of concrete, glossy reflections and soft resins are inserted, enhanced by spatulation that faithfully reproduces hand coating of these compounds. The result is a strong and attractive product, soft to the touch and versatile in terms of use, ideal for residential and commercial contexts. The versatility of District is enhanced by the palette of five neutral colours selected to meet the trends of the moment (Bianco, Avorio, Grigio, Tortora and Ardesia) and a variety of sizes (30x60, 60x60, 80x80, 60x120) with a natural surface and rectified edge. The special textured surface available in sizes 15x60 and 30x60 allows District to be used for outdoor projects (coefficient of friction R11 A + B). The District range includes a delicate decorative offer that overlaps elegant stylised damask with the contemporary aesthetic of the plates. Available in 30x60 and 60x60 sizes, damasked District is a 360° offer for interior design. District by Monocibec is produced by inserting 40% recycled materials in the body, as certified by Bureau Veritas and its characteristics make it ideal for green buildings as demonstrated by ANAB-ICEA. Production: Made in Italy GEOROCK The new collection Georock by Monocibec, made of fine porcelain stoneware, combines high technical content with an eclectic and elegant aesthetic. Georock is an ideal response to the growing need for specific materials for outdoor design and can be used for paving outdoor areas, in public, commercial and private residential contexts, thanks to the high coefficient of friction (R11 A+B). The colour range of Georock includes four colours (Avorio, Tortora, Grigio and Antracite), characterised by slight tone differences and available in three modular sizes with a natural edge to allow for different installation solutions. The grip finish that characterises the Georock surfaces emphasizes the aesthetic of the collection, reminiscent of natural rocks and the idea of strength and weather resistance. The latter characteristics also belong to Georock plates.
