| Article | Dalton GA – June 20, 2013 - FloorTek Expo 2013 will broaden its offering when it is held September 10–12 at the NorthWest Georgia Trade & Convention Center in Dalton, Georgia. Known for being the premier showcase of machinery and technology in the floor covering industry, the event will also add select seminar topics that are of interest to today’s floor covering manufacturers, according to Wanda Ellis, executive director for the American Floorcovering Alliance that conducts the Expo. At a recent meeting of top industry executives held at the AFA offices in Dalton, the support for FloorTek and its education initiative was unanimous. “We believe FloorTek can be a business solutions, as well as a technology solutions forum that will attract more industry management and professionals,” according to Mike Gallman, VP Product Management and Product Development for Mohawk Group. Also attending the meeting were Mark Clayton, CEO/President of Phenix; Ann Cash Harrell, Account Manager, Propex; and Gary Fisher, EVP Marketing, Beaulieu America. The meeting was hosted by Kemp Harr, Publisher and Editor of Floor Focus magazine. A seminar schedule will be published at a later date, according to Ms. Ellis.
