| Article | LAS VEGAS, April 17, 2013… An influx of new lifestyle resources to Las Vegas Market’s Building C – from both new and expanding tenants and temporary exhibitors, as well as extensions of lifestyle lines by leading sales rep showrooms – is a precursor to International Market Center’s official launch of the new “Lifestyle Collection” on C10 and relocation of lifestyle-focused temporary exhibits to C11, at the Summer 2013 GIFT+HOME at Las Vegas Market, July 29-August 2, 2013, at World Market Center Las Vegas. “The lifestyle category is experiencing exponential growth in Las Vegas,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “We’re seeing tremendous resource expansion in lifestyle categories including personal care, wellness, new age merchandise, fashion accessories, jewelry, trend gift, toy and juvenile merchandise. Launching in July 2013, the new Lifestyle Collection on the 10th floor of Building C will feature a cross-category assortment of the industry’s most fashion-forward resources – contemporary gift lines, children’s products, fine stationery and letterpress, personal care and wellness, fashion accessories, jewelry, men’s gifts, tech accessories, and luggage and travel accessories. Four new lifestyle leases have been signed – Just Got 2 Have It! and Archipelago on C10; and Toyology and Grace Direct on C8 – adding scores of notable new lines to the building's growing lifestyle presentation (a full listing of lifestyle lines can be seen here). Lifestyle Collection anchor tenant, Just Got 2 Have It!, has signed a lease for a 10,064-square-foot showroom on C10, bringing more than 30 fashion-forward lifestyle lines, including Enjoue Beaute Los Angeles, Fred & Friends, Lollia, Love + Toast, Mosaiq, Paddywax, Pink Pewter, Tokyo Bay, TokyoMilk and Wild Eye Designs to the Las Vegas Market beginning in July. “I’m super excited to be part of the Las Vegas Market and to anchor the launch of the new Lifestyle Collection on C10,” said Barbara Knight, president and co-owner of Just Got 2 Have It! “Las Vegas has a beautiful market center in an exciting, easy-to-reach destination. My business is well established in the southeast; and, with our western debut this summer, I’m expecting not only to grow our business and gain national exposure, but also to thoroughly cover the East and West Coasts of the United States.” Additionally, Archipelago has confirmed its participation in a new 1,829-square-foot showroom on C10, where it will feature its line of candles, home items and personal-care products, including soy candles, diffusers, body lotions, room sprays and much more. Beyond C10, manufacturer’s rep firm Toyology, which represents some 25 toy companies including top lines such as Crocodile Creek, Cruel Dolls, Green Toys, Hasbro, Madame Alexander, Mattel, Ravensburger, Ugly Doll and many others, has signed a new lease for a 3,957-square-foot showroom on C8. Grace Direct, a global fragrance company, also has signed a lease for a 3,500-square-foot showroom on C8, to showcase its leading candle and fragrance brands Bridgewater, Fresh Scents/Willowbrook, Greanleaf and Votivo. To augment this dynamic leasing activity and to increase synergies between lifestyle-focused permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits, GIFT+HOME will relocate temporary exhibitors in seven gift and lifestyle-focused categories (GIFT, GOURMET, GLOBAL, MADE, TREND, VINTAGE and CARRY!) to the 11th floor of building C for the summer 2013 market. “Our TREND category, in particular, is experiencing significant growth due to Las Vegas Market’s commitment to the category, and its overall appeal to a wide cross-section of retailers and consumers,” said Belshaw. “We expect that some 35-40 new stationery, home accessories and lifestyle décor suppliers, including notable newcomers such as Charles Viancin, PicnicTime and Rustico Leathers, will be showcased in the TREND section this summer.” In addition to these new showrooms and temporary exhibitors, existing tenants in World Market Center’s Building C are bringing a wide range of new lifestyle lines to the Las Vegas Market. White Dove Gifts will add Lalo to its existing offerings, which include Christian Art Gifts, Highland Graphics, Home Etc., Lamar Creations, Millefiori, Prestige Identity, Universal Home & Garden and more.
