Article (Las Vegas) –Thursday, January 17, 2013 – GIFT+HOME at Las Vegas Market will welcome 76 new exhibitors to the newly categorized temporary exhibits on the fourth and fifth floors of Building C for the Winter 2013 show , January 28 - February 1, 2013, at World Market Center Las Vegas. In total, Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market’s ten easy-to-shop categories will present 250+ temporary exhibitors in 70,000+ net square feet of exhibit space.

“Our strategic reorganization of the temporary exhibits not only will create better groupings of related gift and home resources on floors C4 and C5, but also will result in better synergies with permanent showrooms on adjacent floors of Building C,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “More than 30% of the companies on C4 and C5 are exhibiting for the first time, infusing the winter market with a wide range of exciting new resources, alongside returning and established industry brands.” (NOTE: For a complete list of winter 2013 temporary exhibitors, visit http://www.giftandhomelv.com/market-info/exhibitor-directory.html.)

A cohesive collection of home décor resources will be presented on the fourth floor of Building C, in three themed categories: HOME, STYLE and TEXTILES. These temporary exhibits will be directly adjacent to C3’s dynamic new collection of home décor showrooms, which will facilitate sourcing and shopping for home goods.

Together, HOME, STYLE and TEXTILES on C4 will welcome 17 newcomers, including Nicholas Yust; Nine6; Sierra USA Corporation; and Watson & Company, to the winter market. These newcomers join notable exhibitors returning to C4: Authentic Models; Eangee; Heather Ann Creations; Mercana Art Décor; Saddleman’s of Santa Fe; and The Pangaea Collection.

On the fifth floor of Building C, seven themed sections – GIFT, GOURMET, GLOBAL, MADE, TREND, VINTAGE and CARRY! – will welcome nearly 60 newcomers, including April Cornell; Cheryl Long - Pure West - Pure Vintage; City Bazaar; Elf on the Shelf; Giftcraft Inc.; Grenouille; Herdy; Ideation; Indika; Just Got 2 Have It; Material Good; Mimex Brands & Labels; Papyrus - Recycled Greetings; Pumpernickel Press; The Madison Park Group; Wishnest by Alise Sheehan. These newcomers join notable exhibitors returning to C5: Couronne Company; Heather Fields Home & Garden; Nashville Wraps; Primitives By Kathy; The Light Garden; and The Naked Bee.

Special events will augment the introduction of newly categorized product collections. Highlights on C4 include a Grand Opening reception on Monday, January 26, at 3pm, and a free HOME, STYLE and TEXTILES buyer brunch on Wednesday, January 28 (11am-1:30pm). Three special receptions on Tuesday, January 27, will celebrate the opening of TREND (3pm-4pm), MADE and VINTAGE (4pm-5pm) – three categories debuting on C5 at the winter market.

Alongside the debut of MADE on C5, award-winning artist and author Kathy Cano-Murillo, the “Crafty Chica,” will sign copies of her book as part of live craft demonstrations on Monday, January 28, and Tuesday, January 29. All participants are invited to join Cano-Murillo in making a Valentine’s Day craft as part of these day-long sessions.

Free Food & Wine tastings will be presented Monday through Thursday (2pm-3pm) within GOURMET on C5. On Monday, January 28, Jean Rémy Rapeneau of Charles de Cazanove will address Champagne; on Tuesday, January 29, Certified Sommelier Charlie Plummer of Majestic Fine Wines will address California Pinots; on Wednesday, January 30, Master Sommelier Brian Cronin will present “Spain: Old School, New School”; and on Thursday, January 31, Master Sommelier Thomas Burke will present “Big Red Smack Down.”
