| Article | WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI. — Signature Crypton Carpet, a brand that weaves together Crypton’s stain, liquid and odor-causing bacteria resistant fabrics and the design expertise of Signature Carpets, announces their latest venture in sustainable living and environmental preservation - the Yellowstone Collection. Signature Crypton Carpet has collaborated with the Yellowstone Park Foundation, taking on all of the park’s discarded plastic bottles and turning them into carpet backings. This new line, known as the “Yellowstone Collection” will invest 50 cents of every square yard sold through its P2 program, back to The Yellowstone Park Foundation, to help preserve and protect one of America’s most pristine natural resources. “We take 43 tons of plastics out of the park each year,” said John McIntosh, Vice President of Sales of Signature Crypton Carpet. “We are doing more than preserving the environment. We are preserving American goods and services.” Last year, Crypton partnered with Signature Carpets to create the industry’s most environmentally responsible product. The resulting brand, Signature Crypton Carpet, employs American soybean-based oils, as well as 100% recycled content nylon, to create a product that is 82% Green by weight. The brand’s collaboration with the Yellowstone Park Foundation now allows them to expand those efforts onto the American frontier. |
