| Article | Sassuolo, January 30 2012 - Century, Naxos and Monocibec, the three Fincibec group brands, will participate at the next edition of Coverings, from April 17th to 20th in Orlando (Florida, USA) at the Orange County Convention Center, booth 4018. New collections, new formats and new finishes are at the centre of the proposals that will be presented to the American market, from a stand that has been designed specially, to illustrate the soul and philosophy of the project that distinguishes each of the Group's brands. CENTURY has always been synonymous with technical ceramic possessing extraordinary technical performance, at the service of cutting-edge architecture. At Coverings 2012, Century will showcase Peninsula, a collection that has great appeal and gets its inspiration from stone surfaces, and Stonehouse, which incorporates the rough yet intriguing appearance of split stone and offers an across-the-board solution for indoor and outdoor flooring and wall tiling projects. The sophistication of their style is the strong point of the NAXOS collections, and those on show at the American exhibition are no exception. Starting with Elettra, a journey into the discovery of the mineral world that brings never-before-seen chromatic variations and fascinating crystalline structures to the surface. A collection that combines strength and light weight, and can be used in residential and public contexts. On the other hand there is Skyline, a tribute to the most elegant of architectural materials, inspired by the most beautiful and elegant marbles. Seven colours available in large formats and enriched by a wide selection of decors that are able to fulfil the most diverse trends in bathroom furnishings. MONOCIBEC will focus the exhibit on the techincal and aesthetic research that allowed the brand to present very appealing and innovative collections over the last seasons. A study on the most appreciated and sophisticated materials in contemporary living styles, which found a particularly interesting base in the Nextra collection. Inspired by cement, Nextra grasped its expressive potential by making it a dense and engaging material, luminous and versatile, ideal for personalising residential and commercial environments. In observance of the policy on industrial ecology launched by the Fincibec Group, known as Ecology Care (www.ecologycare.org), the Century, Naxos and Monocibec collections are manufactured using a production process with a decidedly contained impact on the environment. The numerous certifications obtained are testament to the green heart of the Fincibec brands, starting with the certification issued by Bureau Veritas for the use of recycled materials in the mixture which exceed 40%. A trait that allows access to important credits in the LEED rating system for the eco-energy evaluation of buildings. |
