Welch Company, a leading-edge Midwestern wholesale flooring products distributor, announced today the promotion of Erin Cartwright Fernandes to the position of Vice President of Commercial Sales. In her 13 years with the company, Erin C. Fernandes has been involved in many facets of the organization. Coming to E.J. Welch from an architectural design background, she spent her first year with the company in territory sales before advancing to work successfully with the architectural and design community as a Commercial Consultant and a Flooring Contractor Specialist. Most recently—in her position as Commercial Products Manager—Ms. Fernandes reorganized the company's commercial team which now includes dedicated customer support personnel. Ms. Fernandes commented, "With the enhancements to our commercial team, our flooring contractor partners can expect timely project quotes, accurate lead times and quick turnaround for product, installation and maintenance information." E.J. Welch President, Michael Welch said, "Erin Fernandes is committed to excellence and her knowledge and work ethic have generated much success for E.J. Welch Company. We recognize her commitment and are thrilled to promote her." In her new position, Ms. Fernandes will manage all activities related to the endorsement of the company's strong commercial flooring portfolio; including Altro, LG/Shaw Hard Surface, Johnsonite – including the Azrock and Tarkett Collections, and Expanko. She will continue her role as Commercial Consultant and Flooring Contractor Specialist with select accounts. In a related move, E.J. Welch Company has promoted Mike Grigaitis to the position of Commercial Sales Manager for their northern region. Mr. Grigaitis will report to Erin Fernandes. Mr. Grigaitis has been with the company for four years and was most recently the Branch Manager for the company's Elk Grove Village, IL location. Mr. Drew Sweeney, an exemplary and experienced E.J.
