| Article | NEW YORK—During its recent 27th annual award luncheon at the Water Club here, the Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund announced this year’s recipients of the Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship Awards. For the second year in a row, the organization’s trustees awarded four graduates, who will each receive $3,500 annually for classes. Pictured from left are the winners: Christopher Croson, Alyssa Olsen, Courtney Fleming and Michael Moger. David Meberg, president of the Greater New York Floor Coverers Association, once again served as emcee for the event, and 2011 co-honoree of the Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship Award Dwayne Sherland was honored for his lifetime of service to the floor coverers industry. The Industry Promotional Fund currently has 14 participants in the scholarship program. |
