| Article | FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS (January 6, 2011) — A new Floor Trader store is opening on Saturday, January 29 in Fairview Heights, IL to serve the flooring needs of area home owners, do-it-yourselfers, builders, contractors, designers and remodelers, according to Aaron Pirner, President of the St. Louis area Floor Trader stores. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on January 29 at 10am in front of the new store at 6104 North Illinois Street, off Highway 64 near St. Clair Square. “The Floor Trader is an easy-to-shop, no-frills, warehouse-style store full of outstanding values on carpets and floors,” explains Pirner. The store specializes in making opportunistic buys for in-stock flooring that can be installed immediately. Pirner sums it up this way, “By keeping our operating cost down and by buying better, we can sell for less, a lot less.” The new Fairview Heights store is the sixth Floor Trader in the Saint Louis area. All six stores are celebrating with a Grand Opening sale featuring At Cost Installation and more. The new store, which will offer carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, stone, slate, ceramic tile and porcelain, will be managed by Cleveland Marr with a staff of highly-trained professionals. “We are fully committed to meeting the needs of our customers, from the selection of the right flooring to offering the best financing plan,” said Marr. The new Floor Trader is located at 6104 North Illinois Street, off Highway 64 near St. Clair Square (618-622-0888). Beginning January 29th, store hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 8pm; Saturday, 9:30am to 6pm; and Sunday, 12:00pm to 5pm. The other locally owned and operated locations are at 5244 South Lindbergh, 9995 Manchester Road, 14336 Manchester Road, 1185 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, and 921 Highway K.
