| Article | DuChateau Floors, manufacturer of FSC-certified, luxury wide-planked European hardwood floors, showcased a number of its product lines at the recent Hospitality Design Boutique exposition in Miami Beach. Scott Lithgow, East Coast Sales Manager of DuChateau along with sales pros Jed Collins and Joel Whiteside of the firm’s distributor, Wheeler, division of J.J. Haines Company, were busy meeting with focused show attendees from the moment the show floor doors were opened until closing time on both of the exposition’s days. “We came to the HD Boutique expo with specific goals in mind,” stated Lithgow. “We wanted to add 50 top architectural & design firms to our list of ‘hot contacts.’ The show was such an overwhelming success for DuChateau Floors that we actually connected with double that amount! And already, a number of these firms are showing intense interest in our product lines. “Our firm is relatively a newcomer within the hospitality marketplace. We know now that there is a strong future for DuChateau relative to being specified for signature hospitality projects,” Lithgow concluded. About DuChateau Floors DuChateau Floors manufactures and markets wide-plank wood floors that offer the look, feel and longevity of Old World European surfaces crafted centuries ago. Using artistic methods perfected in Holland combined with today’s state of the art technology, each plank is treated with all-natural, zero-VOC hard wax oil for a beautiful and highly resistant matte finish. As a proponent of environmentally friendly harvesting methods, DuChateau wood floors are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The firm is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the floors qualify for LEED credits. Please visit the company website, www.duchateaufloors.com. |
