| Article | Anaheim, Calif.—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) has announced it will be offering hardwood training classes from Nov. 3 to 7 at its facility here. Taught by industry experts, the classes will cover such subjects as: wood science; wood substrates; concrete substrates and related hardwood conditions; problems, causes and cures, along with a booklet from the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA); installing, sanding and finishing hardwood; inspecting the basement and crawlspace; understanding differences in species; plank replacement and various moisture issues, to name a few. Classes are run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and are open to distributors, manufacturers, sales representatives, sales professionals, designers, inspectors or anyone interested in becoming a hardwood expert. The fee of $1,800 includes the five-days of classes, access to online training and continued technical support after the classes. In addition, hundreds of photos of hardwood problems will be accessible online for reference. Full payment must be received on Oct. 18. No registration fees will be accepted at the door.
