Eli and Alan Braunstein of Kane Carpets presented the 1986 Allied Fibers Torch of Liberty Scholarships to two employees, Nicolette Soto and Vincent Marino, to benefit their children’s college education. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Bob Kopf, Kane’s executive vice president; Bob Levison and Ron Roy of Allied; Soto, Kane’s director of purchasing; Eli Braunstein, chairman of Kane, and Marino, Kane’s warehouse supervisor. The beneficiaries: Auberto F. Soto and Susan G. Marino.
