| Article | Chicago, IL, May 27, 2010 -- Quartz Flooring Distribution North America LLC (QFD) has been formed by KQF Acquisition and Knight Performance Flooring to distribute and sell Knight quartz-based resilient vinyl floor tile and sheet products in North America. Manufactured at its state-of-the-art plant near Shanghai, China, Knight Performance Flooring’s line of green floor tile is identical in specifications and performance to products formerly produced by Knight Quartz Flooring. KPF president Jessica Lee has managed ventures in China for Owens Corning building materials and Eaton automotive parts. QFD, with headquarters and distribution facilities in Chicago, has named GreenSource Solutions of Brookline, Massachusetts as its exclusive representative for New England and New York. Founder and owner Bill Blasek has sold Knight quartz-based tile for several years. QFD plans to appoint additional representatives, dealers and distributors over the next few months.
