| Article | Buffalo Grove, Ill.—Warmly Yours has named Jonathan Willner as its chief technology officer in a significant push to bring new products and advanced technologies to the expanding floor warming category. Willner’s immediate responsibilities will include managing the introduction of new technologies across the entire line of Warmly Yours ultra-thin floor warming systems as well as leadership of the company’s new products group initiatives. “Jonathan’s extensive experience and knowledge base in electric floor warming and parallel technology applications will help drive Warmly Yours’ quality assurance program and enhance our products in the marketplace,” said Georges Selvais, the company’s co-founder and general manager. “As a founder of the North American electric floor warming industry, holder of several technology patents as well as being on the UL Technical Advisory Board and a delegate to the IEC, a leading global organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies, Jonathan will assure that we maintain the highest quality and product safety standards within our industry.” “Warmly Yours has a superior research and development department that has engineered some of the most technologically advanced floor warming systems within our industry,” noted Willner. “I’m proud to be part of a team that shares my vision and is committed to advancing the quality, performance and energy efficiencies of radiant floor heating. I am confident that we will be setting the standards against which all competing systems will be compared for years to come.” In other news, because today’s consumers are remodeling more frequently than ever and homeowners are yearning for comfort, luxury and a style all their own, when it comes to bathrooms radiant flooring is gaining in popularity. “Today’s homeowner is looking to build a real spa-like experience in her home—a place to retreat from the hustle and bustle,” explained Selvais. “Soothing music, candles, a steam shower or the right paint color are all great building blocks in creating this atmosphere. However, if she steps onto a cold floor, the spa-like feeling quickly disappears. Warmly Yours provides that warmth and comfort she desires.” In order to keep the warm, spa-like feeling when the consumer enters her luxury bathroom, she must incorporate radiant flooring into her design specifications. “Radiant flooring is not at all difficult or costly to add into the bathroom or remodeling plans,” concluded Selvais. “Our ultra-thin systems measure less than 1/8-in. and arrive in easy-to-install fiberglass mesh backed rolls and mats which are then embedded directly into the same thinset cement used to set tile or stone.” The product’s mesh backing helps hold the heating cable in place for optimal heat distribution and allows the installer to quickly layout and affix it to the sub floor with a standard hot glue gun prior to applying thinset.
