Masland Contract, long known as an innovator of design driven, quality products, has continued that standard-virtually. MaslandOnline is an interactive tool that offers reliable service and easy access to products, photography, enhanced design tools, detailed specifications, sample ordering and organizational tools that put the designer in control. “The design community knows Masland Contract for its continual investment in advanced technology in the manufacturing of our running line and custom products,” said Stephen Cocozza, Executive Vice President/Marketing. “The launch of this website reflects the same commitment to technology, going that extra step in providing tools that ultimately lead to better projects.” MaslandOnline goes well beyond industry standard sites, providing designers a multitude of new functionality readily available on any desktop. Products are digitally rendered, offering precise patterning and color representation which are easily searchable through various avenues including: collections, quickship, color, type, construction, certifications, pattern scale and even price range. A single repeat of each product and colorway can be downloaded directly onto the user’s desktop, allowing for digital drop ins or for reference purposes. All technical, environmental and testing documents are easily viewed for the entire Masland Contract portfolio. All products are also available to view in a space using an interactive application that shows the designer a representation of what the desired product may look like installed. The user can choose from a variety of room settings to view the product and even chose the preferred installation method/direction in which it is installed. Designers have the ability to custom color any running line product, broadloom or tile. Each yarn component and its position are highlighted and the designer is given the coinciding color bank where they can select a preferred color. Once a product is custom colored, the user then has the option to order a printed image, view it in a space, order a strike off or even download and save the image to their desktop. One of the most unique functions of MaslandOnline is the project management application. Each MaslandOnline registrant has the option to start their own project folders. Within any given project folder, the designer can save images of a particular product viewed on the site, custom or running line. They have access to all of their sample order history and interactions with the site, giving them full visibility 24/7. They can even share their folder with other MaslandOnline registrants, allowing an open forum for designers working together on a given project.
