Article Dallas, February 1, 2010 – Quick-Step, the style and technology leader in laminate flooring, is launching a NEW partnership with interior designer/style expert Erinn Valencich, “as seen on HGTV”. Erinn will support the brand by providing Quick-Step customers with expert design tips and style inspiration, promoting Quick-Step’s unique innovations and technological advantages, and validating the end-consumer’s decision to buy Quick-Step.

“This designer partnership is just another facet of the comprehensive Quick-Step merchandising program already supporting Quick-Step retailers and equipping them for success with the Quick-Step product,” said Roger Farabee, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Quick-Step. “Having a designer attached to the brand is just another point of differentiation for Quick-Step over other flooring competitors, helping retailers sell more Quick-Step product.”

Erinn, who has used Quick-Step floors in her own room designs, is known for her elegant, glamorous, contemporary style. She has hosted several specials for “HGTV”, has appeared on “The View”, and has been featured in many design publications, including House Beautiful, Home, and Better Homes & Gardens. Erinn has designed rooms for numerous celebrities and owns a multi-faceted design company in California.

Erinn will be woven throughout the Quick-Step merchandising program providing design insight and helpful hints to assist consumers during their selection process. She will also select some of her favorite Quick-Step SKUS to recommend to consumers as “Designer’s Choice” products. Erinn will be featured in point of sale materials, catalogs, displays, web initiatives, and co-op advertising, and at retailer events. In addition, she will assist Quick-Step in the development of future new programs.

Why are Erinn and Quick-Step a good fit? Erinn’s design philosophy mirrors Quick-Step’s own core design principle, “Beautiful Rooms Are Meant To Be Lived In”. Erinn is keenly interested in the “live-ability of design”. “Of course your home should be stylish.
