| Article | On December 9th, 2009 the sky was dumping inches of snow around the city of Chicago. The 'windy city' held up to its reputation with 4 degree temperatures and hard winds at 25 miles and hour. Although conditions were unpleasant, that didn't stop 20-30 people from joining E.J. Welch Company and Altro floors in collecting hundreds of toys for Children's Memorial Hospital. This holiday gift drive was held at the E.J. Welch Company showroom in downtown Chicago. Games, stuffed animals, art supplies, books, etc, were collected to help ease the daily challenges each child experiences during their time at CMH. Children's Memorial Hospital is a leader in pediatric health, research, education and advocacy. Donations are made to the hospital on a daily basis. This support helps the hospital transform the lives of the children and families they serve. Please visit: childrensmemorial.org/friends/default.aspx if you would like to be a part of the giving.
