Respected Cherry Creek Business is Recognized by the Oriental Rug Retailers of America
With Coveted National Accolade
DENVER, CO – October 27, 2004 – Shaver-Ramsey, a well-known high quality and high value rug retailer, was honored with the Rug Retailer of the Year Award by the Oriental Rug Retailers of America (ORRA). The award was presented at the 11th Annual Retailer of the Year (ROY) Awards during the Atlanta International Rug Show. The ROY Awards are co-sponsored by the Oriental Rug Retailers of America (ORRA) and AmericasMart Atlanta.
The ROY Awards salute outstanding achievement among the nation’s premier area rug dealers. All ROY nominees are nominated by AmericasMart area rug exhibitors and are then voted on by an independent panel of industry experts. A capacity crowd was on hand at the Capital City Club to recognize and celebrate the winners in six categories. Shaver-Ramsey was presented with the “Outstanding Merchandising” award. This marks the first time the Rug Retailer of the Year award has been presented to a Colorado retailer.
