| Article | VARANSAI, INDIA—Based on preregistration reports from the Carpet Export Promotion Council of India (CEPC) for the upcoming India Carpet Expo (ICE) buyers from around the world are gearing up for an economic turnaround and are using the show as a launching point to order the latest handmade carpets and rugs. Scheduled for Oct. 3 to 6, organizers said India’s largest market of its kind is all set to welcome customers from all over the world to witness the trend-setting display of products from every carpet producing corner of the country. More than 200 manufacturer-exporters are set to exhibit at ICE. One of CEPC’s missions with this show is to provide an exclusive business environment to the carpet importers and manufacturerexporters. To help meet that goal the organization is offering full reimbursement on air travel and local hospitality to selected overseas buyers.
