| Article | LG Floors brings its Impression™ collection of large-format homogeneous tile flooring to the commercial marketplace. Produced with the industry’s most advanced technology, Impression™ offers design solutions for a myriad of commercial interiors including education, healthcare and retail. The line offers a cutting edge palette of 31 high-energy colors and an oversized 18” x 18” format. Because of that, design possibilities are limited only to one’s imagination. From a performance standpoint, Impression™ is ideal for areas with heavy traffic and rolling loads, including school environments with heavy desks and other equipment. The large format vinyl enhanced tile (VET) from the Impression line offers much greater resilience and has superior indentation resistance compared to vinyl composition tiles (VCT). In fact, with a higher vinyl content Impression has twice the PSI indentation resistance as traditional VCTs. In addition, Impression tiles are easier to maintain, and offer an improved life-cycle for high-traffic commercial applications. Depending on traffic levels and desired appearance, applying a finish to the Impression line may not be required. The product is FloorScore™ certified for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) by SCS Labs. Its micro-squared edges allow for tight-seaming which result in a spacious, monolithic appearance.
