Article Las Vegas, Nevada (January 30, 2009) – Masland Carpets & Rugs is introducing 10 new nylon styles and three Office-to-Home products at Surfaces 2009. In an astonishing range of color choices, textures and patterns, these nylons offer unmatched adaptability, performance and style for any décor.

Two products constructed of 100% STAINMASTER® Luxerell™ BCF nylon – Posh and Cameron -- blend subtle texture and easy-care performance. Posh, a cut pile, is offered in 60 stunning colorations. Cameron, a cut pile carpet, comes in 40 colorways.

Townsend, available in 40 colors and Sheffield, in 24 colors, are both popular cut piles suitable for multi-room use. Fleckstone features multi-colored yarns in nature-inspired hues.

For those with a passion for pattern and texture, Telluride, Yardley, and Essex are certain to please. Telluride’s striated pattern inspired by the layers and colors of the Grand Canyon, is an excellent choice for today’s natural interiors. Yardley, available in 32 colors, features a branch/organic leaf pattern that brings a flowing harmony to traditional rooms. Essex, one of the softest hands in this year’s nylon offerings, features subtle linear striations.

Bandala, one of Masland’s most successful styles, has updated colors for today’s interiors. Cheniere, a lush, deep, densely textured cut pile, rounds out this year’s new nylon products.

“Office to Home” styles are a designer’s top choice for stain resistance and wear-ability. Adding to the current offerings of the highly popular Office to Home line are: Tattersall, a tip shear with a random checkerboard pattern; Cervantes, a multi-toned, tight loop pile with a circular, checkerboard pattern; and Trends, a pattern featuring long, bold striations lending movement and dimension.

Masland Carpets, a division of The Dixie Group, has designed and produced fine quality carpets and rugs since1866, and has a long-standing reputation for innovative styling and color leadership. Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, the company markets an extensive line of residential and commercial carpets and area rugs for worldwidedistribution.
