Those happy and carefree times of 1974 were marked by memorable meetings and cheerful conventions. Caught by the camera at the Western Floor Covering Association’s 15th annual convention in Lake Tahoe are the Howard Clarks, left, of LDBrinkman, and the Von Browns of French-Brown Floors in Dallas. Now the World Floor Covering Association, the retail advocacy group has been the champion of dealer causes for many years, really making a difference on the front line.
