| Article | LAGRANGE, GA.—Saying your products are environmentally friendly is one thing; proving they are is another. For Milliken & Co.’s commercial division, the proof is in the pudding, as the company’s products achieved two major certifications attesting to their environmental friendliness. The company announced all its commercial collections—broadloom and modular— have been certified to the ANSI/NSF 140- 2007 Sustainable Carpet Assessment Standard (NSF-140), and also achieved carbon neutral certification from the Leonardo Academy without purchased credits. Bill Gregory, Milliken’s director of sustainability, noted all broadloom collections meet NSF-140 Gold certification criteria, while its modular products have the option of ES backing with NSF-140 Gold ranking or ESP backing with increased post-consumer content and NSF-140 Platinum ranking.
