Exactly 30 years ago, October 1978, the Cincinnati Floor Covering Association (CFCA) held a Presidents’ Night program and a record crowd turned out. The presidents discussed their outlook for the coming year and opinions of the executives varied significantly. In this photo are four presidents, only three were speakers, from left: John Dixon, chief operating officer, Columbus Mills; Dan Blake of McSwain’s Flooring and CFCA president; Shaheen Shaheen, president of World Carpet Mills, and Peter Spirer, president of Horizon Carpet Mills.
