| Article | Tile Redi®, a global leader in the manufacturing of pre-formed, one piece shower pans for time and labor saving installations, has added a new water intrusion solution to its system - Redi-Flash. Designed to protect the small area between the top of the Tile Redi shower pan splash wall and the showers backerboard substrate, Redi-Flash is an aluminum guard that sits on top of the of the shower pan and rests flush against the substrate, eliminating the potential threat of shower water overflowing the splash wall or penetrating down behind the finished tile work. Tile Redi’s patented and UL-listed shower pans come standard with seven-inch splash walls, and can now provide even further protection from the potential of harmful moisture penetration if the Redi-Flash option is requested. Redi-Flash is quickly and easily installed by attaching it to the pre-formed shower module with metal studs and simply gluing the top strip to the shower backerboard. Architects, specifiers and hospitality developers can simply request that the Redi-Flash system be included in the package with each shower module ordered from Tile Redi. Tile Redi patented and UL-listed shower pans are manufactured as pre-formed, one-piece molded shower modules. Complete with fully integrated drains, curbs and splash walls, each leak-proof unit is pre-pitched for easy drainage.
