Article The Grout Grabber Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of tools since 1998, has developed the Grout Grabber, an innovative tool that removes grout rapidly without damaging tile or creating a lot of dust. The Grout Grabber gives you the flexibility and the power of a custom tool at an affordable price.

The Grout Grabber tool removes sanded grout with ease, and accommodates any joint size ranging from 1/8" up to 1/2" by simply adding or subtracting replacement blades. The blade's unique curved bottom easily gets the removal started. The tool also works great for removing thin-set that may have come through the grout joints. Its special carbide grit is cost effective and gets about 200 linear feet per blade. The Grout Grabber adapter fits in most common reciprocating saws, using the sawing action to remove grout quickly.

The idea of the Grout Grabber tool came from a well-known tile setter & tradesman named Lonnie Middleton in the Dallas, Texas area. He then shared his idea with Bill Russo who has been developing professional quality ceramic tile & stone tools for the tile trade for over 15 years. Russo decided this would be a great product, not only for removing grout, but also for replacing cracked or damaged tile. Russo then started the Grout Grabber Company to produce the Grout Grabber tool that is used to remove grout quickly and safely all over the world today.
