| Article | GREENVILLE, SC, July 22, 2008—Industry veteran, Chuck Coloian, joins 828 International as Account Manager for Ohio. In his new position, Coloian will focus on increasing 828’s sales and market share by working with existing dealers and building new business with specialty retailers. Coloian has more than 40 years experience in the floor covering industry. During his career, he’s been a buyer for Higbee’s in Cleveland and for Crowley’s in Detroit, MI. He also spent 16 years as an Account Manager for Oriental Weavers covering Michigan, Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Today, he utilizes his expertise in area rugs as an independent agent for several companies. “Chuck has seen this industry through good times and bad,” says Tom Morris, National Sales Manager for 828 International. “He has weathered several recessions and knows how to help retailers with inventory, product assortment and training so they can make the most of every business cycle. Chuck’s experience and understanding of the market will be of great benefit to 828 and the retailers he serves.” Coloian is based in Westlake, OH and reports directly to Tom Morris. |
